Default Character Emotes

This idea was creatd by Sli Ander. I only created the actual emotes.

Monk-/pray gets on his knees, puts hands together, and stares into the sky.

Warrior-/train takes ot weapon and starts swinging it around

Elementalist-/water,/fire,/wind,/earth has water/fire/lightning/rocks floating around them,

Ritualist-/spirit raises 4 spirits around them, spirits dissolve

Necromancer-/death grim Reaper comes from the ground, slashes scythe, flies away

Mesmer-/illusion creates an illusionary world around mesmer

Assassin-/shadow shadow hops from place to place

Ranger-/arrow shoots two arrows, secod one breaks the first one

It's kind of cool I guess...but why? Is it for RPers or something?

Would be cool to see but I see no reason for them to implement. Maybe you could elaborate a little more?

We could like, go DnD on everyone and have a travelling sideshow all throughout Tyria.

These would be cool.

xBakox, is there a point to the dances? No, they are just a cool thing to have, along with all the other emotes really...It would just be for show!

Exept for the necro, I think it would be like /deaths summons minnions that walk in circles around the necro or something. Just my thoughts on the necro emote.

Pfft...the grim reaper owns minions...

Sounds cool, I like the ranger one, would be cool to see, lol.

Mind elaborating on the mesmer one a bit more though? I don't quite get that one...

Something to be wary of, especially with the assassin emote is to make sure these are not exploitable in combat. The assassin shadow steps around, if I'm interpreting the description correctly, thereby causing him to be difficult to hit. The Mesmer may have difficulty being seen, and the Ritualist and Elementalist ones could lead to mistakenly believing a skill had been used. For instance, any spirit ritual or an attunement spell.

These would be nice for show, as I suggested something very similar on another website a while back, but you have to be careful about whether or not they may cause a problem.

Of course, the best solution: Make them unusable outside of towns and outposts! Mission outposts and PvP arena outposts are included in the term "outposts" :P

Meh it sounds cool. But yeah it would have to be disabled in competitive zones.

maybeyou could have the assassin chain combos instead, look cooler, not upset in battle. it would be /combo

and the mesmers could be lthe mesmer playing a game like tennis with illusions that arnt different colors so that you would know which one wasnt a real thing

Didn't realize someone had run with the emote idea....thanks for the shout out though.
The way these are set up is very well done, because most of them allow people to interact(and the ones that don't are cool anyway).
Imagine: we'll get archery contests, knife fights, Warrior tournaments, And ping pong matches. And that is completely monumental: this gives people a fun way to show off their profession(together), have a couple of chuckles, and play around outside of missions with each other, rather than simply dancing in a group. (Plus it will cut down on the number of Dance Parties! )
Sli Ander kneels down and begins to pray!(that Anet will see this thread)

Or you can open a box of Christ-Chex and an angel can pop out and say "GOOD MORNING!"

DY-NO-MITE!

Lol, really though, the mesmer one confuses me, explain it for me please Lol, the others sound really cool, I'd run around doing /arrow all day long
